Provisional Results... And A Big Thank You

....Thanks to Eamonn Deane's very excellent Local Riders, Local Races blog. Go here: http://blog.sportsmassagebournemouth.co.uk/2013/07/gittings-provides-fitting-tribute-to.html for photos and a race write up.

There is another write up here with Velo UK:

If it sounds very similar, it's because it was also written by Eamonn.

In the meantime, I'm off to Sweden for a week poking around abandoned military facilities and it only remains for me to offer a HUGE thank you to EVERYONE involved in making the day a success. To everybody who helped on the day, to all the officials, to the commisaires and time keepers, to RoadPeace, to Change Partners Consultancy, to Guy, Jose, Aaron and the young lady who's name I did not catch from the AECC, to Dave Wade and Jurassic Cabs, Ros Spencer for funding a whole race AND helping with the scoring, to Charlie The Bikemonger, to CyclePaths, to Lush Cosmetics (you know who they are) to Adam for helping me come up with the concept to start with, to everyone who retweeted one of my desperate pleas for entries and techno Steve for keeping the music pumping.

Particular thanks go to Gerry Gray and to Graham Hurst for close to a year's worth of advice and guidance. I genuinely couldn't have done it without you, but then you probably already know that.

And finally, a big thank you to all the riders for making it all such an incredible race. As a fan of track racing, I thought the racing was awesome.

See you all next year.
